Right. I said that he wasn't THE difference, as in he wasn't the most important factor in the end result. Obviously there was more than 1 difference between the two teams that night.

IMO it was your defense's performance that was the key difference. Which is why I'd argue that Bryant could've QB'd Clemson to a win against Bama that night.

I think Bryant as QB would have made that a really close game and Bama would have believed that they could win and fought til the end

But Trevor being in there slinging it around and opening it up for everybody on offense is the reason why Bama quit and knew they couldn't beat that team

Bryant is just so limited. Trevor adds an element to that offense that Kelly could never bring
