Why doesn’t Ole Miss do powder blue jerseys?

The helmets look good with the road unis or the red jerseys, but the powder blue helmet with a navy blue jersey just looks weird.

Their color scheme reminds me of the Montreal Expos. I hate to admit it, but it’s pretty good. Pretty good.

Throwback to winning days of Johnny Vaught’s great teams. Nobody complained about them then. Billy Brewer, who played for Coach Vaught, brought them out of mothballs, but he never had success as did Vaught. People have been complaining since. I personally like the contrast, but hey, we all have an opinion! P.S. Too much energy being wasted on uni’s. Need more attention on pass defense!

I hope we wear powder blue helmets from now on. with every jersey. the navy blue helmet looks black on tv, like texas tech or sum shite

As a State alum/fan we used to make a fun of the Ole Miss powder blue, we called them their baby blue uniforms.
I don’t like Ole Miss but to me their red jerseys and gray pants with the navy blue helmets are their best uniform combination.
But I am more traditional on uniforms. I like State’s basic maroon and white home and all white with maroon trim on the road (those are my favorite).
They can keep all these gimmick uniforms.
and yes I get it that the kids like them and that is fine too.

Ole Miss was the Texas AM of the SEC before Texas AM joined. The baby blue units are a throwback to their past more fruity days. Once aTm joined, Ole Piss could not out fruit the Aggies.
