2016 vs. LSU (Baton Rouge)
270 total yards
56 yards rushing (1.75 yards/rush)
4.22 yards/play
23-20 L
2017 vs. LSU (Starkville)
465 total yards
285 yards rushing (5.94 yards/rush)
6.55 yards/play
37-7 W
2018 vs. LSU (Gainesville)
391 total yards
215 yards rushing (5 yards/rush)
5.51 yards/play
27-19 W
If UF can run the ball to keep LSU's defense honest, and somewhat control the clock, it should be a very close game.
LSU has the #1 redzone offense in the country and UF has the #1 redzone defense in the country. But on the other side, UF's offense has struggled in the redzone with turning it over. UF will need to convert redzone opportunities to give themselves a chance in the 4th Q.

Y’all will score on LSU. They will score many more though.

Honest Question, Does Florida have a running back beside Perine worth talking about? Any young guys yall are waiting to bloom?
LSU has been pretty good against the run this season but it may be from taking early leads and teams having to go away from the run trying to come back

florida is going to need long scoring plays on offense to keep this game close, in my opinion. they won't be able to put together long drives. their o-line kinda stinks.

Pierce is very good. He got knocked out by the clear targeting hit earlier in the game.
Issue isn't the backs, it's the blocking. They have zero space. You saw what Perine could do when he has a little lane to run in with that long run. Issue is we don't create many lanes for them to run in.
It was better last game though and seems to be improving slowly. We out rushed the number 1 rushing team in the SEC yesterday.

Pierce should probably be our between the tackles guy but Perine does everything else well. Pierce got knocked out of the game early against Auburn. Hopefully he is ready to go for LSU.

I love cocky LSU fans. Most irrational fan base in sports. Never have I seen a fan base with such unabashed delusions of grandeur.

I got you, so its an Oline problem. And yes, seems like I've watched Perine at Florida for the last 10 years, I know what he can do!
How is the OLine in Pass Blocking? Is it one or two of them that arnt good or have they just not gelled together?

Dan Mullen vs Dave Aranda
Don’t need stats, just go ask Bama or UGA or Auburn fans who they’d prefer out of those 2 options for their next HC. That’s all you need to know.
Mullen is a nice little coach, though.

lsu is a two touchdown favorite. not that irrational to think lsu wins by two touchdowns or more

I feel like everyone said the same thing last week about the Auburn game.

This LSU defense is more susceptible to the pass.
Florida has very talented WRs.
The question I ask, is if you think Trask is up to the task in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday NIGHT?

I was actually questioning why people assumed Auburn would whip Florida. That is a true freshman QB starting on the road at the swamp..
That is not the same as this week. Game is at LSU with a Senior QB breaking every record imaginable.
I have never seen such an efficient offense as LSU's.
LSU's D is really coming around too as guys are getting healthy.
Night game, at Tiger Stadium with this Senior QB.. I like LSU. I'm not going to talk trash though.

Be honest. Do you think our QB will have anywhere near these stats?
11/27
145 yds
1 TD
3 INTs
6.6 QBR
This isn't Florida just dominating an offense. Bo Nix is really.. really bad.

I do doubt if he has ever played in a hostile road game environment like he will experience this Saturday.
This game(as you know--especially at night) will be super loud and intense like so many of the great LSU/UF games we've witnessed the past 20 years. Can't wait!
