Prestigious universities don’t really do that.
That’s why the question was posed.
Would LSU like to beat UT 7 of 8 years, and have more impact?
Or would you rather have to beat atm 7 of 8 and have no one really care?
It’s obvious, the LSU-Texas rivalry game would be much more attractive than LSU AGGY.

Which has been answered by SEC schools with a winning record against texas yet you keep asking.
On tRant LSU would be much happier beating TAMU then watching it all unfold. If LSU beat texas that much it would get boring pretty soon.

Yeah, nobody gave a frick about 74-72, or 5-0 and pussy out back in the 90's. So, does anybody really give a frick about LSU?
Maybe you're right. Playing the fricking longhorns on rivalry weekend would be better for Aggy than nobody-gives-a-frick LSU, right?
