No clue but the issue has already been handled per backchannels.

They’re had a warrant for his arrest since August 21st so in typical hilarious fashion the KPD hasn’t been able to locate a football player for nearly a month lol

Hey, give KPD a break. He could have been in a class, or at the football facility, or on the practice field. That's a lot of places to have to go stake out.

Then on Saturdays, there are over 100,000 people at Neyland, so he would get lost in the crowd.

How many FTA (Failure to appear) warrants do you think get issued in Knoxville every week? Probably in the dozens. Nobody knew or cared he was a football player. He was just another name on the docket that didn't show up.

In most jurisdictions, the PD doesn't go out looking for these folks. They just wait until they come across in the normal course of business. It is a good strategy because people who won't show up for traffic tickets are very likely to do something to get themselves pulled over again.

Which is exactly what happened here. He got stopped, they ran him, found the warrant, and he got the bracelets.

Guess they don't read practice reports.
