Trask was set to possibly take over the starting job last year after Franks was benched against Missouri... Trask promptly broke his foot in practice that week.

IIRC, he was a highly rated recruit. Why Mullen insists on sticking with franks is beyond me.

I mean, I guess he sees them every day in practice and has more information....but Trask really looked solid when he came in. It seemed like the whole team got a lift and a boost of energy when he was taking snaps.

I honestly believe he will do good things for Florida. I am a little surprised Emory Jones is not getting more snaps, though. I know he was raw coming out of HS, but he has a lot of talent, too.

Emory you can see he still doesnt read the field well passing. He will start eventually. Just not yet unless forced to. Mullen said he will play though so we will see him some going forward.

Trask is the complete opposite of highly-rated recruit. Dude had scholarship offers from the likes of McNeese and Lamar.

Who was a highly rated recruit? Trask ? He never started a game in high school and wasn’t highly recruited. Frank was the starter because he had more experience and talent . Trask arm is weak , hopefully Mullen can hide it with great play calling .
