Like an earlier poster said, I think the main reason Shula went 10-2 is the defensive talent we had. As far as going 10-2, I'm not looking for that this year at all. I think most logical Bama fans acknowledge that an 8 win season would be a good year, considering we're on the road to the elite teams in the conference this year. I believe 9 would be a total surprise and greatly unexpected. My opinion anyhow.

Mark, DeMeco, and Roman were the reason we went 10-2. Shula was lucky to have them, as was the university as a whole.
