That was my point. Also, at LSU and Bama, Saban has a distinct and definitive advantage over Tubbs. Specifically in attracting top talent and recruiting (Bama - state school that historically and even to this day pulls more of the top instate talent and LSU - no other big time in state D1 program).

Put Tubbs and Dinky in the exact same setting and Tubbs consistently wins more games IMO. And I think Tubbs wins 2/3 of the catagories listed (player development and game day coaching). Recruiting, Saban wins but not by a lot (see advantages he has enjoyed above).
