how do we know this Texas team is even truly a Top 20 team right now.

Before last Saturday night, I was one of those fans who said, "Texas beat UGa, because they were disappointed to be playing in the Sugar Bowl... yada yada yada." But after our game against them, I am convinced they would have beaten UGa five out of five times. Sam Ehlinger was that good. UT will contend for the Big 12 and a playoff spot.

Orgeron is undefeated against top ten opponents that are not the University of Alabama. With the amount of top ten opponents we have played during his tenure, that is an extremely impressive stat. He will win at LSU for a very long time. With how he has been recruiting, it will only get better.

This is a case study in delusion. You had over two years to form an opinion about Sam Ehlinger, and despite years of mediocre to slightly above average QB play, NOW suddenly because of his performance against LSU, you realize he's actually an unbelievable QB and Texas is an unbelievable opponent.... Right.

So you're able to take snippets of certain games and transpose them onto other teams to judge the true strength of that team. Okay, fine. What did Georgia's handling of Alabama for just short of 4 quarters mean to you? You know the same Bama team that flattened LSU 29-0 in Baton Rouge. Or what about Georgia's 19-ponit victory over Florida last season.... the same Florida team that beat LSU?

So I take it those are not good comparisons to show how good Georgia was last year, but a bowl game that has no meaning is the perfect example. Do I have that right?

Fact: Against opponents that FINISHED in the AP Top 10, Orgeron is 2-4. There is zero evidence that Texas will finish the season this year in the Top 10, hence the fact they are currently NOT ranked in the Top 10.

Yes, I'll give Orgeron credit for winning some big games on occasion, but you're also leaving out the fact he lost to 4-loss Texas A&M last year, 4-loss Mississippi State the year prior (by 30 points!), to Troy in 2017, etc.

You have to take the good and the bad and weigh them together.
