Preseason SOS rankings.
But this isn’t about our schedule vs theirs....it’s about the false claim that all SEC fans make about their schedule being a grind “week in week out”.
The majority of your games are against mediocre to bad teams. Florida is barely a top 25 team.
The only team that has proven itself against a worthy opponent is Auburn, and nobody knows how good Oregon is either.

The claim is that SEC schools have a tougher schedule because they play better teams on average. No team in CFB plays ranked/good teams every week.

Possibly, we don't know yet. If we only judged Clemson on a&m or Syracuse last year we'd say the same thing. Also, Syracuse is barely a top 25 team and there Clemson's second biggest game.
