3 years is fair, 4 is ideal imo. As I said I support as long as the win totals increase, once they dip (significantly, not just 1-2 games) then I get concerned. Bert lost me after the back to back blown leads to end the 16 season. He dropped from 8 to 7 wins and I could’ve lived with that but not to end the season like we did. That was his 4th year, more than fair.

One thing to consider is the schedule is only getting more difficult from this year forward.

Colorado State (who was blown out by Colorado Saturday) drops off with a P5 opponent replacing them and he will have a more legit East opponent rotating on with his first 3 facing the bottom three of the east (Vandy, Kentucky, and Tennessee).

And that may be what is most frustrating, a three year span with a 8+ win schedule (4 weak non-con, Ms Schools, Mizzou, Vandy/Kentucky/Tenn) has been started with the worst season in school history...
