This is bad. To have a close game against an FCS team is a cause for concern, yet we have some clinically insane fans that actually think we look improved. Where? I've seen some people say the defense looked good. Did they look good when they got five penalties in one minute? Did they look good when they gave up a touchdown to a backup FCS quarterback? They gave up a bunch of big plays too. No way in hell they'll be able to stop an SEC team.

The offense looks worse than last year. Quarterback play is bad, O line is bad, receivers can't catch the ball, etc. Hicks sucks as expected, yet Starkel comes in with a golden opportunity to win the starting job and throws the worst interception I've ever seen in my life. Played catch with the defender with no Arkansas players anywhere close. It's like he forgot we had red jerseys on!

When we barely beat Coastal Carolina, people wanted the coach fired. Now we barely beat Portland State and the same fans are saying we look "improved." I question the mental health of these people. This is a terrible team and a terrible staff, and if a bunch of them don't get fired soon then we're really in trouble.

If they lost to a 4-7 FCS Portland State team, it should have been the Citadel 2.0...but they won by 7 and put up 20 pts when they were favored by 28 and predicted to score about 50.

Honestly, the loss would have probably been better in tbe long run because you'd be forced to rip off the band-aid. The win just prolongs the misery, perhaps into another year.

But if he only wins 3 games this year, there is nor excuse. It has to be over.

The guy would be 19-45 as a head coach, 5-19 at Arkansas and 0-16 in the SEC.

Please. There wasn't an Arkansas player anywhere in the same zip code. He threw it directly to a Portland State player that was surrounded by three other Portland State players. I really think he forgot we were the red team.

I'll give Nick a small pass on the INT. The safety was hiding behind the ref and that dude was at least 10 feet tall and jacked up like The Mountain.
