The players have changed since then.. bigger, faster, stronger.. that hard nose approach only gets guys hurt now days. It’s a different game at a different speed now. I agree going 100% at times let’s you know who’s the best.. but all the time gets you hurt. Every hit is like a car wreck now.. enough of those and your hurt. Bodies can’t take that kind of stress and damage. These guys aren’t 175lbs anymore

Thank you! When you’re down to zero depth at linebacker you hold the player back. It’s evident that Saban had already taken that approach during the second scrimmage. Several players sat that game out at Saban’s direction. Why Dylan Moses is going full speed on a Tuesday of game week is beyond me. Maybe he wasn’t and it was just a freak accident, but until I hear otherwise I will be pissed.

But they're not significantly bigger than the beginning of Saban's tenure. To say something has changed with our conditioning/preparation is ridiculous. Could it be simply that these injuries are a statistical anomaly? Quit overreacting in the moment.

All you guys saying on here we should be shutting players down or limiting contact will be the first ones crying when an Ole Miss or Arkansas racks up 320 yards rushing, "We've gotten so soft! What happened???!!!" Don't get your panties in a wad.

Ya got class, we're gonna find it out
