2 things from me...

Run the ball 60 plus times to get the offensive line to gel and get some run block reps down.

Tackle better

Sustained drives. Full stop. That's it. An offense that doesn't look completely useless running or passing the ball.

I want to see the running game get going, specifically Malik Davis. I feel like he is pressing because he is getting limited reps and trying to do to much. But I will add that I don't want to see the OL starters play the whole game. We are not deep at that position and as much work as they need, I think we also need to keep them as fresh as possible. They can play longer when the games mean more and the weather is hopefully cooler.

Though I hope it is 100 degrees when Tennessee comes to town.

Establish the run.
Attempt some longer FGs to get McPherson some reps before SEC play.

The most important piece of the puzzle is the OL. I was worried about LBs but after seeing V. Miller and even James Houston (-boneheaded PF) I see a lot of speed and reaction times....and they can only get better with more snaps. I am surprised by David Reese at ILB and he may have been slightly injury, which seems to have happened to him often.

No doubt the entire defense will spend a lot of time on the basics of tackling. Even though I can think of almost a dozen players who tackled well, the drills in the heat will make them pizzed at the slackers and they will damn be sure to them know they don't appreciate being outside in the heat for a long time. That's what Spurrier would do.

Most important - No injuries.

Almost no missed tackles.

70 offensive plays so everyone gets a lot of practice.

And a win.

I'm going just the opposite of everyone here. I'd like to see an all out air raid from both Franks and Jones. They need to get as many reps against a hitting opponent as possible to get some timing established so that when we go to Lexington we feel confident in airing it out to soften the defense for the run. Hell, the entire SEC now knows how to shut our offence down, just stuff the run. We've got to give them something to worry about downfield DAMNIT!

Establish the run
Vertical passing game
No injuries
Shut your mouth and play ball
fewer penalties

Last preseason game, get ready for SEC football.

Tackle better

Oline push

Want to see Jones run a few series just to see it.

If it was my team, I'd want to see better tackling and more fluid play calling. It felt choppy and out of place a lot on Sat.

Hard to have rhythm when you have 4 turnovers AND hit chunk plays.

drive 1 - 5 plays - 79 yards - TD
drive 2 - 12 plays - 51 yards - FUMBLE
drive 3 - 2 plays - -8 yards - FUMBLE
drive 4 - 3 plays - 7 yards - PUNT
drive 5 - 4 plays - 15 yards - HALFTIME

drive 6 - 6 plays - 32 yards - PUNT
drive 7 - 9 plays - 33 yards - FG
drive 8 - 4 plays - 22 yards - PUNT
drive 9 - 3 plays - 11 yards - TD
drive 10 - 2 plays - -1 yards - INT
drive 11 - 4 plays - 80 yards - TD
drive 12 - 1 play - 0 yards - INT

UF only had one sustained drive. They either scored quickly, turned it over, or punted.

That and UF only had 7 plays in the 4th quarter and 9 plays in the 2nd quarter, mostly because of turnovers.

That's why it seemed choppy.

Take away 4 turnovers, and UF probably has 38 points and everyone talks about how good they looked.

The turnovers really made them look bad.

Why does it bother you so much? I was talking football and every time I do you talk some of the worst trash ever to me trying to get a reaction.

Because I actually understand the game of football.

Questionable, maybe from a Jawja perspective but you don't know shite about Gator football and don't belong on the Gator board, just be glad I'm not a moderator.

Really, if I want a Georgia fans perspective on football, I would rather go to the SEC Rant to get it especially since they don't allow Gator fans on their board.
