QB Chubba Purdy, Gilbert (Ariz.) Perry
quote:
QB Chandler Morris, Dallas (Texas) Highland Park
quote:
Another first year starter, Morris racked up 4,657 total yards (291per game) and 66 touchdowns (4.1 per game) en route to leading Highland Park to a state title. Similarly to Purdy, Morris brings value as a threat to score on the ground, running for 20 touchdowns as a junior. The Arkansas commit is in a proven high octane offense and should be a near lock to post some more gaudy stats as a senior.

QB Evan Prater, Cincinnati (Ohio) Wyoming
quote:
RB JASE MCCLELLAN, ALEDO (TEXAS)
quote:
RB Miyan Williams, Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods
quote:
RB ROYDELL WILLIAMS, HUEYTOWN (ALA.)
quote:
The biggest recruit to come out of Hueytown since Jameis Winston, Williams was dominant as a junior, rushing for 2717 yards and 32 touchdowns on 291 carries in 12 games. He also added 3 receiving scores. The Alabama commit’s compact build and strong lower body allows him to easily run through tackles once he gets to the second level.

RB BIJAN ROBINSON, TUCSON (ARIZ.) SALPOINTE CATHOLIC

RB DEMARKCUS BOWMAN, LAKELAND (FLA.)
quote:
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rockwall (Texas)
quote:
WR JULIAN FLEMING, CATAWISSA (PA.) SOUTHERN COLUMBIA
quote:
WR John Humphreys, Newport Beach (Calif.) Corona del Mar
quote:
WR J.J. EVANS, MONTEVALLO (ALA.)
quote:
The Auburn commit had a breakout junior campaign, racking up 1,706 yards and 18 touchdowns on 74 receptions in 11 games. An athletic mismatch for most of Montevallo’s opponents, we’d expect similar impressive production from the Top247 wideout in 2019.
quote:
WR Jalen McMillan, Fresno (Calif.) San Joaquin Memorial
quote:
WR Jalin Hyatt, Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork
quote:
Playing for arguably the top high school program in South Carolina, Hyatt accounted for 1,316 yards and 21 touchdowns on 71 catches in 13 games as a junior. The Tennessee commitment is among the fastest wideouts in the 2020 cycle with a verified 4.32 40-yard dash and figures to continue being a tough cover for Dutch Fork’s competition in the state’s highest classification.
quote:
WR Demond Demas, Tomball (Texas)
quote:
The electric athlete scored on nearly every other catch as a junior, totaling 1,574 yards and 23 touchdowns on just 50 receptions in 11 games. Demas also added two more scores in the return game. The five-star Texas A&M commit transferred from North Forest High to Tomball during the offseason and lost an eligibility hearing this week, putting his senior season in serious jeopardy. Should Demas play his senior year, he’s certainly among the more dangerous and productive wideouts nationally.

FLEX DEVON ACHANE, MISSOURI CITY (TEXAS) FORT BEND MARSHALL
quote:
TE ARIK GILBERT, MARIETTA (GA.)
quote:
TE MICHAEL MAYER, ALEXANDRIA (KY.) COVINGTON CATHLOLIC
quote:
TE DREW SANDERS, DENTON (TEXAS) RYAN
quote:
Ranked as an athlete, Sanders could potentially play tight end at the next level, though he’s probably more likely to end up on defense. Even then, the Alabama commit is one of the more unique overall high school football players in the class.
His production backs that up. In addition to posting over 100 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 8 sacks on defense, Sanders scored 19 touchdowns, three different ways. Lining up as a short yardage quarterback, sanders threw three touchdowns and ran for 13 more. He also caught three touchdowns in his limited time as a receiver.

I think TJ Finley will have a breakout year this year and hopefully the rest of his team is actually decent.

Damn, that’d be crazy if he couldn’t play his last year of high school ball.
