Why do you simpletons allow this guy to russle you so much and derail an actually pretty good thread, which is so rare on this board. I will never understand it.

Or someone who wants to participate in decent SEC football discussion unlike your constant pedantic trolling that’s made to look clever by bolding and italicizing words?

Go read my post on Burrow and learn a thing or two about the program you supposedly support.

Last 4 games? Where Bama played Auburn and 3 top 5 teams? While LSU played UCF, Rice, Aggy, and Arkansas? I mean I can make Jordan Jefferson look better than Joe Montana if I can pick and choose the games. If only LSU and Bama had've played each other so we would know who was better.

I’m not buying what he didn’t do against top defenses, he was thrown into the fire with a offense that were in 8 new starters.

Lsu fans are excited because of the progression he made as the season went by

Joe Burrow's last 4 games:

Tuna Turneditova's last 4 games:

So in other words, Tua's worst stretch of games where he played Auburn, #4 UGA, #4 Oklahoma and #2 Clemson were equal to Joe Burrow's best stretch where he played 2 unranked teams in Rice and Arkansas, a 7 OT game vs TAMU and UCF

I didn’t pick and choose. I went with the 4 most recent games for each. Yugely fair.

Did Tuna and Joe ever take the field at the same time? I don’t remember that.

A better metric would be to look at how they did against the best common opponent: Georgia.

Burrell:
266 total yards
2 TDs
0 INTs
82.7 QBR

Turneditova
143 total yards
1 TD
2 INTs
29.8 QBR

He's a shite QB that couldn't even lead his team to score at home in his biggest game last season.

Poors had gameday there and everything.

- Can't factor in prior stats.. system change/second year
@ LSU/as starter.
- Who doesn't hype their team preseason?
- They've had terrible QB's

He's a solid QB, is his support solid?

You're right, he sucks. Your team should take him lightly. But if they do, don't use that excuse after.

PFF has him rated as the 17th overall QB in the nation heading into 2019.

I like Joe, but you are full of shite but it doesn't even matter because everybody knows Tua will play in the nfl while Joe watches him on tv. Just like LSU players will watch Bama in the playoffs on tv, same as every other year. Coming soon the Bama "9" gifs.

Does that have any bearing whatsoever on the fact I presented to support why LSU fans are hype about Joe Burrow heading into the season?

Everyone also knew Alabama would beat Clemson while WillyT was guaranteeing a 20 point Clemson win.

He got here like 6 weeks before fall camp started. He got thrown in the fire. His receivers dropped balls like it was contagious, especially early in the year. As the year went on, he got better and better. He's an Alpha competitor, basically the whole offense comes back, he can run and make all the throws. he has an absolutely STACKED receiver corps, and he finally will have an offense tailored around his skills. Get back to us with the skepticism in October and tell us your thoughts.

This! Plus we have Joe Brady who still talks to Pete Carmichael weekly. For the first time in a very long time this offense will have major changes highlighting elite receivers.

I honestly think LSU will score 60 in every game this year.
