Clemson had a month and a half to get ready too. They'll have the same advantage this time no matter who they play. I have been pounding away at that point for months and I see others are coming around to how I saw it.

If Bama gets a shot at Clemson again, God help Pretty Boy. I can tell you right now what's going to happen from last year's game. The few times Bama was able to get pressure on him, he didn't handle it very well. With the schedule they have, he won't be accustomed to it. They are going to send everyone but Big Al after him, muss his hair and see how he handles getting knocked on his keister.

Sunshine doesn't hold onto the ball long. And is deadly accurate. Bama better have an NFL D backfield

A month and a half? Clemson started gameplanning for Bama in October. After they escaped A&M and Syracuse (9/29), they knew they had no one else on their schedule to even remotely worry about. They played 2 "ranked" teams NC State and Boston College, neither of the two should've been ranked and their conference "championship" was against 7-5 Pitt. Same thing for 2019. They play absolutely nobody - they will start the season tracking Bama for the playoffs and adjust if needed.

Y’all have to pick your favorite reason why that was a fluke and ride it.

Alabama coasted through the SEC even easier than Clemson ran through the ACC. They were head and shoulders better. It wouldn’t have mattered who they played.

You’re going old school - Clemson hasn’t been tested. They won’t be ready for a physical team like Alabama. That’s a tired line that’s been put to rest.

Whatever you need to rub on that open blister to make it better, I guess.
You sound like a UofSC guy with that wait til next year stuff.
