Private school that recruits players for all sports. Probably not so much now as they used to because of the higher rule scrutiny (although I’m sure it still goes on).
They also play in a small division (D-2 I think) so their competition isn’t nearly as good as them. The public schools got tired of getting waxed by them and Evangel so now all of football in LA is split. There’s now a private school league and a public school league, so the competition is even less for JC.

They played Warren Easton last year. So they play a few public schools as well?
