He is also a very solid judge of talent.

Lamar Jackson was all Gator and Boom refused to offer him to play QB.

Johnny Football was all Horn, but Muschamp wanted him as safety.

Two of the biggest misjudgements of talent in CFB history are on him.

No doubt Boom’s biggest shortcoming was offense, particularly identifying and developing quarterbacks. With Bentley in his last year and with Hilinski and Doty coming in, he’s clearly turned that around. Add in coaching upgrades at qb and offensive line which are paying off, and you have hard proof of Boom’s maturity and growth.

He still has to prove he can beat Georgia, Clemson and other top tier teams (plus Kentucky!). The signs are there if he can continue to build depth, avoid widespread injuries and pull out some upsets with this year’s schedule.

LULZ ... holy crap some of you Gator fans are suffering from full blown MDS. It’s almost pathological among some of you Gators. Your MDS has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime. Some of the bravo sierra y’all dream up to try to support your hatred of Boom is worthy of a case study in collective psychological malfunction and derangement.

mUSChamp killed Kennedy too I bet huh? And he sabotaged the Titanic amirite?

LULZ y’all crack me up sometimes. Thanks for the belly laugh.

So let me ask you. Of the seventeen draft picks y’all had, the seventeen mUSChamp recruited and signed, which ones does Boom get credit for in the eyes of you Gators? There were how many 1st Rounders in those seventeen? What, six? Seven?

The year McElwain won The East .... how many of those starters and contributors does mUSChamp receive credit for signing?

Nope.

Manziel went to every camp he could for 2 years across Texas campuses & no one had him as QB take @ the D1 level. Mack Brown, Gary Patterson, Art Briles.. all had ATH/Non QB tag on him.

Sherman @ A&M offered late after his top targets fell thru & it was thanks to Tom Rossley from their staff. JFF was really small & his rep was already well known. It was a miracle he even made it at A&M, for all his shortcomings Sumlin did a masterful job identying Manziels talents and providing an opportunity for him to succeed in CS with little off the field fan fare compared to what we saw down the line.

In short cant put JFF on Muschamp & I'll restate what I posted earlier... Muschamp was the glue behind the last 2 great teams Texas had under Mack Brown.
