You might have that skewed. Somebody could go 9-0 & make the cg. Say the next team is 8-1 (only losing to the 9-0 team). They also make the cg.
8-1 beats 9-0 making both 9-1 with loses to each other.

WHO gets chosen?

Both go, and we say frick one of the other P5 conferences.
