I mean ... I guess I see how each of them arrived at what I'm sure each one of them consider to be reasonable predictions, but they're really not that reasonable. They sort of illustrate all three's lack of knowledge of the conference overall. They didn't put much thought into any of what they gave us. They gave it their minimum.

Exactly. They all figured that someone would beat Georgia, and maybe someone will, but Mandel and Staples especially didn't seem to put any thought into exactly who that would be and what that would mean in terms of how good that team would have to be.

I think predictions are cute. I would care a little more about them if they all did a comparison after the season and showed the difference between what they predicted and what actually happened.
