You must not have seen they guy play. Plus he played back before officiating made being a QB much easier.

Tommy Frazier played at Nebraska from 1992-1995. He accounted for 5,516 total yards (passing and rushing) and 79 TDs in 4 seasons. Compare that to Ty Detmer...who accounted for 14,665 total yards and 79 TDs. They had the same number of touchdowns, but Detmer accounted for nearly 3 times as many yards in offensive production. How did officiating make being a QB easier for Detmer who played 4 years earlier?

For what it's worth...I did see the guy play...you can say that Detmer's passing numbers are inflated because of the system he was in...but that would be the same narrative for Frazier's rushing numbers. He was a helluva runner and an adequate passer. With that Nebraska squad...that was all you needed.

i saw him play. he was a beast. but no ways he's 1st team all time
