Pat Dye's 99 wins is pretty freaking impressive considering it came in 11 years and he was hired just after UGA and Bama had won national championships and AU was like 5-6. Went 11-1 in 1983 and should have been national champs that year and finished the 80s with 4 consecutive SEC championships. Probably had the best team in the country a couple years in the 80s but never git over the national champ hump. Very similar to Richt at UGA exceot more impressive IMO.
