Apparently you're more stout than I A real pocket cannon there. Had been thinking of converting one of my 21s, but it was around the time the polymer 80s dropped and you couldn't find internals anywhere. I opted for a .22 conversion instead. Great fun, but with only 10 rounds vs my normal 13+1. When you can shoot whenever you want, in your own yard, bullet bills run high. Really been into skeet shooting with my 20 gauge of late. A ton of fun with a couple buddies. But I'm getting off topic quickly here, sorry.

Great advice. Probably the most common place a gun goes missing. 3 weeks ago I thought I had it happen to me. Was a nauseating feeling on multiple levels.

If you ask 10 gun owner what they recommend, you'll get close to 10 different answers. A rental range is the best way to figure it all out, if you don't know someone with a particular model you're interested in. No clue where you stay (and please don't tell us lol) but if it's anywhere near a metro area you should be able to find one nearby.

Yeah it’s a minimum $32.00/box of ammo every time I take it the range and only one supplier in central MS sells 10mm ammo that I’ve found. The range where I shoot makes me bring my own steel plates to shoot even though any non-shouldered ammo is supposed to be allowed with plates. Evidently I cracked two of theirs the first time I took it out there. It’s a brutal round. If I had it to do over again I would get the G30 just because .45 is half the cost of 10mm.

Pretty much this. What I would have suggested has already been thrown out there.

I very, very much agree with everyone saying try out some different models and makes at the range. You might find a pistol that seems perfect for you only to discover it can't hit the broad side of a barn.
