Yea, you're correct. Our coaches historically do not do a good job of rotating in younger guys on the DL during important times of the game. We put them all in during mop up but we need to use more players earlier in the games.

Early on under Saban we did that (rotate defensive lineman) but we had a few years we were lacking depth a bit and we got out of the habit. It killed us against Clemson every time. We absolutely need to play younger players starting in game one. Yes they are going to make mistakes, the goal is not to be the best football team in America in game one. you don't get anything for that, it's to be the best team in America by time you get to the final third of the season.
