Take these categories out and recalculate. The fourth highest points awarded should be for a conference championship, then overall winning percentage, then Bowl winning percentage, number of bowls etc. Any "opinion based" crap such as AP poll rankings should be low on the points awarded list.

Nah, you can't just discount Heismans. There's a reason blue bloods display them with their natty trophies.

They also display the other individual awards, so if you count the Heisman you should count those. However I think none of them should count as they are political.
