-- During 7-on-7 work, the first-team receivers have been John Metchie, Slade Bolden and Javon Baker, but the two noteworthy things I heard on the wideouts were about the new guys, Jameson Williams and JoJo Earle. Williams continues to impress and has clearly been the fastest receiver on the field. As for Earle, one source said he has twitch that the others don't. He is also wearing No. 10. -- Closing this out with the secondary, DeMarcco Hellams could be a breakout star this season since he seems primed to lock down a permanent first-team role. He had a couple of interceptions during a recent player-run workout. Hellams and Jordan Battle have been the first-team safeties this summer, while Malachi Moore is back at Star with the ones after missing the spring. Josh Jobe and Jalyn Armour-Davis have been the first-teamers at cornerback, with Kool-Aid McKinstry right behind them.
