Besides needing a new defensive coordinator, I still think it would be really great to have Bo Davis back coaching the defensive line. I know it’s Freddie Roach’s first year at Bama, but the defensive line has been putrid so far.

Our DL problem is our crappy 2-gap "mush rush" scheme. It should be totally eliminated. All 3 DLs should always be attacking through OL gaps to get penetration into the backfield.

Now you need to give Freddie some slack. He has probably never played or coached the mush rush. He will get it down.
