Alabama expected to have new defensive line coach (AL.com)

Alabama will soon have a new defensive line coach. Former Alabama player and staffer Freddie Roach is the name to keep an eye on for that defensive line job, according to sources. Roach is expected to be in Tuscaloosa Monday, per sources.
Current defensive line coach Brian Baker is expected to move into an off-field role, AL.com has learned.
Roach, who worked for the Crimson Tide in a support staff capacity in 2015 and 2016, just finished his third season as the defensive line coach at Ole Miss.
Ole Miss had just announced on Saturday that Roach would be remaining with the program as part of Lane Kiffin’s new staff and that he would have the titles of assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator in addition to being the defensive line coach.

I'm pumped to have Freddie back. I think it's an awesome hire seeing as though Baker may stay in an off the field role.

Word (another site) is Freddie is actually with Nick in Texas recruiting today. It's happening.
