This is not 2012 and Alabama is a pass first offense. They’ve recruited personnel for a passing offense and the best playmaker is the QB in the offense. They most definitely need explosive playmakers at WR to fully maximize offensive effectiveness.

Well we sure as hell have the horses at RB to pound teams on the ground if the Oline can run block worth a shite. I'm not saying that we don't need to be successful passing the ball, I am just saying that the WRs don't have to be superstars of the past for us to have a successful passing attack.

In particular the offense needs a speed guy to make it all click.

With Burton and Brooks the possession game is set, but Bama won’t hit its offensive ceiling unless one of Harrell/Leary/any of the freshman can play at a high level and threaten the safeties.
