I’m guessing if we played today it would be Burton and Brooks outside and Jojo in the slot. Holden, Leary rotating in. We will see if anyone else can elevate and be game ready. I was most excited about Anderson but he’s out for a few weeks which really delays his development and almost assures we won’t see him anytime soon. Maybe Preston or Bonds can work their way in. Saban didn’t sound high at all on the UL transfer. Talking about needing him to channel things in the right direction. That almost sounds like attitude or effort issue to me.

That's not how I heard.... He's not 100 percent. Saban said that.

If I had to bet my money on WR depth going to Game 1.. It would be Burton, Brooks and Harrell/Earle. I think we'll see Leary/Anderson on field as well. Out of all Freshmen, I think Aaron Anderson is likely to see significant playing time throughout the season. Rest will be seeing special team.

Exactly right. But there are the same ones on here and other sites than continuously push the negative narrative. I'm excited about the wide receivers. Niblack looks like a freak at tight end too.

Yeah, I heard that part. What did you make of Saban's quote about needing him to "channel things in the right direction"? That clearly has nothing to do with an injury. Sounds like a very minor injury (that perhaps Saban think TH should be playing through--hurt vs. injured as Saban has spoken about) plus something else. Attitude? Work ethic? Who knows. Hopefully he gets healthy and gets it together because we need someone to take the top off defenses this year.
