FWIW, I think we made up some ground when Blackshear chose Florida. There had been a lot of talk of him coming in with the 2020 class but that's when I started to see a lot more of the 2019 talk. Kentucky had him in for a visit just couple days after Blackshear announced.

That's not to say he doesn't go to LSU. As others have said, I've seen most talk between LSU, Kentucky, and Oregon. Just shedding light on what probably changed for UK. I also think while EJ makes a big jump this season, he could probably get PT over Richards.

If Claxton came back I'd call us solidly on the bubble for the tourney, but as of now we simply have no bigs and a questionable front court. Back court should be excellent, wing play should be average to servicable, but yeah the post is a major quesiton mark.

This and from what I saw from reports covering this last weekend, seems like Kentucky was coming after him harder than others. I believe Oregon and LSU both had coaches there but from what I remember Kentucky had 3. I realize coaches are never there for just one player though.

All of this doesn't mean that much in the grand scheme of things, just gives me reason to think Kentucky has a slight edge even if it is extremely close.
