He was 500 pounds with heart / kidney issues.
Finding someone to write a policy was probably pretty difficult.

Not to be a dick, but do you think he would had been able to get a policy from an insurance company in his state of health at an affordable price?
The Gofundme is for his kids college fund...Jared was not wealthy but a humble, great all around guy.
