Finished that job. Wife is happy. Paint, install floor, install cabinets and new W&D. Now I can get back to work.

Floor was straight forward. I need to put some kind of cover over the threshold. It was a little difficult because my hardwood flooring from the rest of the house stops there and I cant take up the threshold. I was hoping to just butt the new floor right up to the threshold but the floor moved around a tiny bit and its not completely seamless. I will do something later.

Thanks for the advice....

It sucks to replace with these newer W&D's. they all suck and don't perform like the older models. Speed Queen (TR3, TR5, and their new classic TC5) is the only brand that still makes the old style and what I will get next.

Solid work Lanier.

That's part of the deal with a floating floor like that. Room looks great though man.

I hate that for you man. My parents split when I was 8. They still don't like each other 20 years later, but I love the hell out of both of them for realizing they don't have to like each other in order to look out for me and my brothers.
