Fsu didn't have too much trouble selling tix in bowdens heydey. Other than that they've always struggled.
Folks here are way too young but us older guys remember when they were a struggling team that hat to give auburn 3 for ones in the 80s. That went 4 times to Nebraska without getting a return trip from the huskers.
They were what byu is now. Central Florida reminds me of them coming on. Fsu didn't demand shite like ucf does but earned it over a 15 year span. Now fsu is the fsu I remember as a kid.

Check out how many times they went to Tiger Stadium before they could get a return trip. LSU didn't want any part of Bowden.
