Lsu being anything lower than a 4 seed seems retarded

Summer, you are logical, hear me out. This is honestly a non-homer take

We are defending SEC champs and a sweet 16 team

We return our 3rd,4th, and 5th leading scorers

We return our entire bench, and we added the 17th ranked player in the nation

That is alot returning for college basketball. Going from a 4 seed this year to a 10 next year doesnt make much sense

Yea I think #10 is too low. Like somebody posted here or in Gators thread, people have all the Wade/money/FBI/NCAA stuff in their head along with everyone "declaring" (and 2-3 coming back from that) and it is effecting the way they look at this LSU team.

The current LSU roster, to me, is a #4-#6 type seed, SEC contender and Top 20-30 team. I don't think it's crazy to put them somewhere between #5-8, but a #10 seed is definitely at the very low point of preseason expectations IMHO. Losing Waters was a hit, though. It's hard to replace some of the stuff he brought to the table.

He certainly helped get LSU to the Sweet 16, but Wade didn't. For the tourney next year, LSU may lose Reid and Waters, but they get their coach back* - and a top-20 freshman in Watford.
