I had a patient here in Wilmington last night who was a Clemson grad. He saw my Gamecock lanyard and asked for another nurse. Said he'd "rather die" than to be "taken care of by a Gamecock."

When I initially went in to introduce myself as his nurse and he saw the lanyard he stopped cold and basically growled "I'm a Clemson grad." My reaction was natural repulsion and I gave him a quick but polite death stare, as he did me as well, before I excused myself from his room.

Someone needs a psych eval. It's just football. If someone is trying to help me I wouldnt give a shite about anything but their competence.
