it's pretty amazing to think that this is Auburn's first visit to the CWS in 22 years, and Alabama last went by defeating LSU 2 games to 0 in the very first season of Super Regional 1999.

Yep - been to 3 Supers. 1999, 2006 vs UNC (lost 2-0) and 2010 @ Clemson (lost 2-1).
