Feel free to write a strongly worded letter asking why, you can check SoS for yourself. RPI isn't nearly the factor in baseball as it has been in basketball and even for basketball it's starting to be replaced by other metrics.


Perfect example is Tennessee having an RPI of 11 and will more than likely be a 2 seed in the tournament instead of hosting with the rest of the top 16. RPI means next to nothing in college baseball.
