Will have to read it here. (Never watched an episode of either one.)

It's just a personal tick (no shade to throw) but I like each show in a series to be able to stand on it's own. Having a couple/few/many major underlying themes is essential; but tell me sell me a short story every couple shows. Longmire was great about this for a while. Until it became every increasingly about the long or end game.

Maybe these pulled it off - you'll have to let me know? I usually bail when it becomes more about the characters than the story.

Oh i haven’t watched either

As I’ve said I never watched GOT.
I just have never seen something like this in this time for a TV show

Maybe it’s recency bias
