5 assaults and zero murders in the city of mountain brook for 2018. That fact is not anecdotal.
You failed to mention the thefts and robbery stats...you got them?

Yes.

There were 6 robberies for 2018 in mountain brook. One of them was shoplifting.

There were 45 burgluries, ranging from home to business. None of that is germane to openly and publicly carrying a loaded gun. In those instances, loaded guns are only potentially useful in doors.

Thefts are intersting.

131 thefts were committed in mountain brook for 2018. The vast majority of them? That's right, identity theft at a whopping 92. If anything warrants openly carrying a loaded pistol on the mean streets of mountain brook alabama, it's identity theft.

The other thefts were auto related. Either auto theft or breaking into them. Niether one germane to openly and publicly carrying a loaded pistol.

Family violence is more than four times higher in mountain brook than open assault. There were 5 assaults in mountain brook for 2018 and 21 reported instances of family violence. Strangely enough, you're cousin is 4 times more likeky to encounter violence in her own home than the parking lot of bed bath and beyond.
