But are they? I feel like it's just better for them to accept what their athletics are as a whole at this point. And for the most part, I think they have

South Carolina finished 31st nationally in the Director's Cup standings - 7th out of the 14 SEC schools.
maybe you should accept where your school's athletics is "AS A WHOLE" <----cyclingout's words
Pickens Tech is 80th nationally in D1 and - drumroll - 12th out of 15 in the ACC.
you need to heed your own "advice" ...
