Why devolve in to petty drama when we have a real bonafide mystery on our board?

WE STILL HAVEN’T SOLVED THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING RING WHODUNIT
This should get more attention than any in-fighting. So many questions still remain!
Who was the shadowy ring maker?
Why was he so insistent on getting IBG and myself to enter ourselves in to his charade of a contest?
Will the ring ever surface?
Is CNB safe now that he’s doxed himself?
PS: I can confirm for one, that I am not the Ring maker guy. I thought it was odd the first time I read that guy post and stayed the hell away from him.

This is SERIOUS BIDNESS. Someone tried to dox both of us for reasons unknown. Maybe they wanted to send us cow poop (no worries there, I have a lot of it) or maybe they wanted to kill us!

I'm siding with ksg on this one. He is trying to find out who tried to dox his employee cnb. We were all attacked and need to come together.
After we solve this attack everyone can go back to cussing me and giving me dv's.

Exactly! Thank you SOSFAN. You really get what is going on here. I will not let CNB be threatened in this manner. If something happened to him I would have nobody to shid on.

I remember on one of the DUIs I got, or almost got this one time, I had downed a fifth of everclear and was driving down 20 near Aiken in my '94 Chevy S-10 blasting Skynyrd and this Trooper pulled me over. I dropped the spurs on him when he asked for my ID. He smiled, spurred up, and let me go about my business.
We used to be a tight knit fan base.

Whoever the guy was - he should be doxed.
It had to be someone that was on to him early because he gave no indication that he was a fake and he even responded to some emails with genuine answers that would have been tough to make-up.
It's a mystery, and I am going to go back and share the emails I got from him with my son and see if we can figure this out. He can use the cyber trail or something, I dunno, to narrow down where the emails came from I think.
I'll always defend fellow Gamecocks until they prove me wrong and I'll always say we're far better off sticking together than infighting ... but I know well enough that there will always be asshats and assclowns that have nothing better to do than stir shite up .... it's been that way since the old usenet days and the news groups. All civility and esprit de corp has been abandoned. The Internet is a free for all zone with almost no honor or integrity at times and that's unfortunate.
If the guy truly was pulling our legs and he made it all up ... here's to hoping he gets a worthy and justified karma kickback. What he did served no purpose whatsoever.
He sure suckered me. I guess I am just getting too old to spot a bad guy online anymore. It's kind of ironic because 20-25 years ago (when I was riding in an old truck drinking down around Aiken or whatever) but 20-25 years ago when my youngest daughter was still a young girl she witnessed me having to deal with some nutcases on the Internet and it fascinated her.
Fast forward to today and she is a PhD in Psychology receiving millions in funding to do this research on the bad element in social media, (particularly FB and Twitter but also message boards), and she and I talk about it all the time and how her research is coming and how people are dying because of the fake bullshite everywhere (in this particular case particularly because of not having their children vaccinated) and how much damage these people who play these stupid fricking games do .... so yeah, I dunno, none of this is funny to me I guess.
But I get it, I do. I get the references. Y'all have fun with that.

Rooster, I promise you, honestly and earnestly I wasn't cracking a joke about you. That isn't how I picture you. That was more a general joke about myself. Sorry about the confusion.
I personally have always found S-10s funny, and the everclear thing was taken from a life experience, not the DUI but yea. I also did get pulled over for speeding once near Aiken driving to a game and the Trooper let me off with a warning.
It was sort of inspired by real events.
