I think Richt was a great coach for the majority of his tenure but couldn't get over the hump. Looks like Smart has the program trending up, maybe he is the coach that takes down Saban.
I'd like to see the conference powers of the 2000s dominate again and have multiple elite programs. Looking at the recruiting rankings it appears that may be the case. Alabama, Georgia and LSU are killing it and FLorida is doing much better than they have of late.
