Funny that Slayton is drafted and Davis isn’t

Later rounds are based solely on potential. If everything clicks then Slayton will be incredible.

I’m surprised that Hawaii slot receiver was drafted over Davis. Oh well, he can find a FA spot somewhere

I mean, Slayton has a pretty high ceiling.

I personally think Davis will land somewhere and will be a solid weapon in the slot and I'm surprised he wasn't taken at all bc I think he's more than worth a 6th or 7th, but I can understand some of the concern about how well he'll translate to the pro game. His hands are reliable and he's a great route runner and that's why I think he'll still be a good player, but how few big plays he made out of all those catches is a legitimate concern for the scouts.

But the Pats just picked him up and if he's going to shine anywhere in the NFL, it's there. That's huge for him and I can't wait to see him in that system

I’m not an NFL GM.

Davis has better hands right now, but neither is a Megatron, Julio, A.J. Greene, prototypical #1 WR.

I wish both guys the best. A slot guy with good hands can keep a job.
