His chosen path seems less than ideal.

They made it a point that he put his name in and talking like that with test the waters etc.

He'll be back.

Hopefully, but unless he goes buddy hield next year, I can't see him improving his stock at all

Not really about improving, but staying healthy and getting it back into the top 20ish range he was mocked in coming into the season and pre-injury.

He just needs a healthy solid year.

Yeah, It was felt like to me that Mason was gone and Joe would come back. I think the timing of both declaring indicates that as well.

Rivals Article on Musselman's antics

I didn't know this was a thing.

Also didn't know Kim English was still offended.

Wow, I guess its even clearer where that negative recruiting is coming from when Musselman has brought it up before.

I can get how some of what Musselman does can be off putting to certain people but to think anyone actually gets upset by any of it is insane. He doesn't take himself too seriously and we need more of that in the real world imo.

Who has benefited the most this transfer season?

10 Teams listed

quote:

Team: Arkansas Razorbacks

Additions: Jalen Tate (graduate) and Vance Jackson (graduate)

As always, Razorbacks Head Coach Eric Musselman is going hard after the transfer market. Musselman made his mark at Nevada on the strength of transfers, and clearly he is looking to keep that going at Arkansas.

So far, Musselman has added a pair of graduate transfers.

Tate is a doing it all wing guard who handles the ball, attacks the rim, sets up teammates and also really guards. While he isn't a threat beyond the three-point line, Tate can impact the game in a variety of ways. He isn't the most physical kid, but he really defends, shows great instinct on that end of the floor, and also is productive on offense. He plays within himself, and does all the little things that coaches want.

Jackson is a stretch forward who should provide three-point shooting. Also a solid athlete, Jackson is capable of being a solid defender, though has never shown it in his time in college. If Jackson gets his motor running a little better, his ability to stretch the floor should make him a weapon in Musselman's offense.

The Razorbacks have made contact with Holy Cross transfer Joe Pridgen. Unless the NCAA passes a one-time penalty-free transfer exception, Prigen would have to sit out one year due to NCAA transfer rules.

Pridgen just wrapped up his first season at Holy Cross, where he averaged 17.4 points per game for the Crusaders on 55.8% shooting from the floor. At 6-5, 210, the forward brought down 6.8 boards per contest during his freshman campaign and dished out 2.2 assists per contest. At the conclusion of the season, the Winchendon (Ma.) native was named the Patriot League Freshman of the Year.

Darrian Ford '22 Class

quote:

"Their coaching staff is very amazing," Ford said. "I visited up there not too long ago and it was just amazing. I got to meet all of the coaches, see all of the facilities, the campus, I just had a great time. They treat you like family. It's more than basketball with them. The nutrition, oh my God, it was so good. And the hills, it was so nice up there, I just loved it all.

"(Musselman) is doing an amazing job. Coach Muss, I watch him all the time on Twitter. He interacts with the players when they're training. That lets you know he's not just on the sidelines coaching, he actually gets into it with his players. That's what makes their bond so good and how far they came this season. That's what made them accomplish so many goals this season, by Coach Muss interacting with them."
