Statically Mond was better. An Lsu fan posted the stats the other day. Mond has a clear edge. Mond is going into year 2 under Jimbo. In the past Jimbo’s QBs have made huge jumps in year 2.

It’s hard to judge DL since we have a 4 man front vs your 3 man. I wouldn’t trade our guys for yours. Not even close.

Does anyone want to argue O is a better in game coach than Jimbo?

Your offense last year was much more stat friendly for QB’s to be fair. And I don’t think anything you said was crazy, just that I disagree. If you want to bring coaching into it our offense is going to get a face lift from the passing coordinator we got from the saints, or DC is one of the best, if not the best in the country. O lacks X’s and O’s but he’s a great motivator which sounds dumb but when you’re talking about leading 18-23 year old guys that’s big, and he stays out of the play calling for the most part. I don’t think as a whole your staff is really superior.

I think Mond and Burrow are pretty close. Both are pretty good qbs but not great. Seems they can both be streaky, though I have only watched them vs Alabama and just casually in other games and may be wrong about that. If I had to take one of the two for my team I think I'd have to take Burrow.
