lulz ..... I love how everyone is singing Bruce’s praises and declaring him vastly superior to Frank.
#1 - Bruce plays the AAU game and pushes the limits of the rules which is something I wish Frank would do. However, in all likelihood, it will bite Bruce in the arse again.
#2 - Even Bruce admits that FM owns him. He’s said it publicly.
#3 - Frank was behind the 8 ball after his Final Four run because of a BB gun and a dumbass PG who failed to take advantage of a second chance.
#4 - Frank signed better players from out of state than those that left the state and, in the process, signed guys that wanted to be here and were not influenced by a crooked AAU system in state that directs players out of state for money.
#5 - Bruce and Frank have very similar coaching styles if you really look at it and know what you are seeing. The myth that Frank doesn’t play a hurry-up fast paced style of offense is bullshite.
#6 - Injury bug and youth hurt Frank big time this season. Most of the season we were playing with 6-7 healthy scholarship players. shite happens.
#7 - I’m pulling for Auburn and Bruce in a big way in this tourney and I promise you, there are going to be some epic battles between Frank and Bruce in coming years.

It’s a possibility,’but not all likelihood.

And then beat Frank in the SEC tournament. Bruce and Frank have a great competitive but friendly rivalry. Let’s just leave it at that.
Before tbe SEC tournament, I’d say FM was a better x’s o’s coach, but I don’t think that really matters anymore. Bruce just bested Self, Roy Williams, and Calipari. What Bruce does works.

I mean, Avery Johnson owned Frank Martin. Didn't really matter much.

Every one of our guys was lightly recruited except for the one who's Mom has her jersey hanging in our rafters.
Bruce does an outstanding job of finding kids who fit his system. More importantly, he coaches them up when he gets them.

Bruce’s is at a big disadvantage with AAU players because AU is not a Nike school.

There is a lot of dumb in this post, I'll do my best to address the most glaring ignorance.
quote:At last something we can agree on...Frank's defensive objectives are hard on Bruce's offensive philosophy. It comes down to who executes their plan better. In the last 2 seasons they each won that battle twice.

#1 - Bruce plays the AAU game and pushes the limits of the rules which is something I wish Frank would do. However, in all likelihood, it will bite Bruce in the arse again. Look at the offer list for our recruits...if he is playing the "AAU Game" he doesn't need much money to do so.
#2 - Even Bruce admits that FM owns him. He’s said it publicly. Isn't Bruce 1-1 each of the last 2 seasons with a win in the game which had direct championship implications both times?
#3 - Frank was behind the 8 ball after his Final Four run because of a BB gun and a dumbass PG who failed to take advantage of a second chance.
#4 - Frank signed better players from out of state than those that left the state and, in the process, signed guys that wanted to be here and were not influenced by a crooked AAU system in state that directs players out of state for money. Tinfoil?
#5 - Bruce and Frank have very similar coaching styles if you really look at it and know what you are seeing. The myth that Frank doesn’t play a hurry-up fast paced style of offense is bullshite. Really? Tell us more of how Frank and Bruce's systems are similar?
#6 - Injury bug and youth hurt Frank big time this season. Most of the season we were playing with 6-7 healthy scholarship players. shite happens. It's funny you'd mention injuries when talking about playing Auburn where one could argue in the last 2 seasons no team has benefitted more from an injured Auburn squad than USCe.
