The lone non-Pac 12 school on the list, the Crimson Tide would have to make a special appeal to get him to play in the SEC. And they just might with new head coach Nate Oats, who was able to convince the majority of the roster to remain for at least another season. If the Crimson Tide do well this upcoming season, expect them to get the attention of a lot of top-50 prospects.

Coach Oats has done well with past wing players, with the most notable example being Jeremy Harris, who averaged 14.0 ppg and 6.2 rpg last season at Buffalo. The former Bulls coach developed lesser talented recruits into quality college basketball players so giving him five-star talents such as Beauchamp could easily take Alabama to the next level.

But there are questions about how the roster will look for the 2020-21 season, with a ton of guards and wings around 6’5-6’7 size. That includes possible seniors John Petty and Herb Jones, along with four-star newcomers Juwan Gary, Jaylen Forbes, and JUCO transfer James Rojas. There’s no question that Beauchamp will get minutes regardless but the lack of clarity of who he’ll be playing with could be a concern, along with one of these guys emerging into a star as well.

On the recruiting front, Green, who currently ranks as the No. 3 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, said he’s being prioritized by Kentucky, Memphis, Florida State, Oregon, Alabama and California. Kentucky, California and Alabama have had assistants in Greece watching him.

Green has already taken official visits to Florida State (Nov. 16) and Memphis (Sept. 13). What’s next on the visit docket? “I’m planning on going to Oregon, try to get that one in, Alabama too.” Green said. “There’s a couple more, I forgot which ones.”
