I agree with Smoove. Bama needed a name. Some white dude from Wisconsin with 4 years experiance won't cut it. Should be fun.

Honestly I think it's a fine hire

It just may take some time to get off the ground and I'm not sure how that'll fit with Alabama's impatience

Of Rick Barnes, Will Wade, and Avery Johnson, Johnson got by far the most national media attention when he was announced.

Yeah Oats inherited a well-built team in Buffalo. Bruce Pearl inherited shite.

Alabama has talent, but if they canned Avery Johnson after 4 years, I'm wondering if Oats even has that long.

If the doesn't cut it, he will get canned just like Avery.

Alabama will NOT retain a high priced coach that turns in mediocre results, can't develop his players, doesn't recruit to his system, and can't adjust his scheme to fit his personnel.
